Holistic Pain Management in Lindenhurst, NY
For pain that stopped being a body-part problem a long time ago. A coordinated plan across several treatments rather than one appointment repeated until you give up on it.
Why A Plan
Chronic pain outgrows single treatments
Most people arriving here have already done the rounds. Something helped a little. Something else helped for three weeks. Someone told them to live with it. What almost nobody offered was a plan that treats more than one thing at a time.
That is the gap this exists to fill. Pain that has been going on for years is rarely one problem. There is the original injury or pattern, the compensation the body built around it, the sleep that went, the stress that followed, and the movement that stopped. Treat one and the others pull it back.
Because more than twenty treatments run under one roof here, a plan can be layered rather than referred out. That is the practical difference between coordinated care and a stack of appointments at four addresses that never speak to each other.

The Toolkit
What a plan draws from
No plan uses all of these. Most use three or four, and the mix changes as you respond.
Where stress is holding the pattern in place, acupuncture for anxiety and stress goes into the plan. Where inflammation and sleep are the wider picture, herbal support runs between visits.
How It Runs
Three stages, then it adapts
A long first appointment
The history, the injury if there was one, every treatment you have already tried and what each of them did. What your sleep is doing, what your stress is doing, what you have stopped being able to do. All of it shapes the plan.
A layered plan
Usually three or four treatments running together rather than one at a time, sequenced so they reinforce each other. Built by Joseph A. D'Antona, DAOM, who practices across acupuncture, herbal medicine and massage himself.
Reviewed as you go
What you need in month one is not what you need in month three. The plan gets reviewed against how you are actually responding, and we will say plainly if something is not working rather than running it out.
Working with your physician, not around them
Everything here is complementary care. It works alongside whatever your doctor has you on rather than replacing it, and any change to prescribed medication is a conversation for the physician who prescribed it. Bring your current list to your first appointment so the plan is built around it. If your pain is new, changing in character, or came with anything neurological, get it looked at medically before booking here. Individual results vary.

Common Questions
Questions we get asked
How is this different from just booking acupuncture?
Acupuncture is one treatment. This is a plan that usually combines three or four, sequenced so they reinforce each other, and reviewed as you respond. If a single modality is what you need, we will tell you that and you can book it directly.
Will this let me reduce my pain medication?
That is not a question we can answer, and not one to decide here. Any change to prescribed medication belongs with the physician who prescribed it. What we can do is work alongside it and keep your doctor in the picture.
How long does a plan run?
Longer than most people expect, because chronic pain took time to establish and takes time to shift. Your practitioner sets the initial shape at the first appointment and reviews it as you go. Individual results vary.
What if I have already tried acupuncture and it did not work?
Worth saying so at the first appointment, including where you went and what was done. Sometimes the answer is that acupuncture was not the missing piece and something else in the toolkit is.
Is any of this covered by insurance?
Many treatments are covered and it depends on your plan. Submit your details through our intake and insurance page and we will verify benefits before your first visit.
