A Holistic Wellness Center on Long Island
More than twenty treatments under one roof, across two Suffolk County offices, led by Joseph A. D'Antona, DAOM. Open seven days a week including holidays.
Who We Are
One building, one plan, twenty ways in
Most people arrive here after piecing treatment together across three or four practices, none of which were talking to each other. The Balance Health and Wellness Center exists to be the alternative to that.
Acupuncture, massage therapy, reiki, herbal medicine, holistic medicine and a full body detox center all run under one roof, which means the person deciding on a treatment plan can see the whole picture rather than a third of it. If one approach is not right for you, another is down the hall.
Two offices cover Suffolk County. Lindenhurst is the main center on the South Shore. Kings Park is a boutique practice that has been part of the North Shore for over sixteen years. Both are open seven days a week including major holidays.
Everything Under One Roof
Six ways to start
Tap any category to see what it covers and where it leads.
The foundation of the practice
Point work for pain, migraines, anxiety, sleep and fertility, led by Joseph A. D'Antona, DAOM, voted Long Island's Best Acupuncturist. Combined appointments run it alongside massage, reiki or Active Release Therapy in a single visit rather than two.
Twelve treatments, all a full hour
Voted best massage therapy on Long Island every year since 2011. From a straightforward therapeutic hour at eighty-five dollars through to couples experiences with live sound bowls, with enhancements worked into the hour rather than added to the end of it.
A dedicated facility, not a side room
Colon hydrotherapy on the Angel of Water open system, far infrared sauna, ionic foot detox, Ceragem thermal massage and red light therapy, all at the Lindenhurst center. Packages include twenty percent off other therapies booked on a treatment day.
No needles, no pressure, fully clothed
A full reiki treatment office running sessions for stress and anxiety, chakra balancing, and combined acupuncture and reiki appointments. The option for anyone who would rather not be handled at all.
A formula built for you, then adjusted
Comprehensive consultations with a licensed herbalist covering symptoms, history, digestion, sleep, stress and energy. Nothing is dispensed until your full medication list has been reviewed, and formulas change as your body responds.
The broader clinical side
Allergy elimination, thermography screening, holistic pain management, addiction support and pregnancy and postpartum care, alongside alternative medicine treatments including cupping, Active Release Therapy and acoustic wave therapy.

What People Come In With
The reasons behind most first appointments
Rarely one thing on its own. Most people arrive with two or three of these and have been treating them separately.
Back and neck pain
Long-running, postural or from an old injury that never fully settled.
Migraines and headaches
Including tension headaches that arrive at the same time every day.
Anxiety and stress
A nervous system that stopped switching off when the day ended.
Sleep that stopped working
Tired but wired, or waking at three and unable to get back down.
Sports and overuse injuries
Shoulders, knees and ankles, and scar tissue limiting movement.
Digestion and gut issues
Often the first system to complain and the last to be connected.
Allergies and sensitivities
Seasonal, environmental and food sensitivities, addressed with NAET.
Fertility and pregnancy
Support through each stage, and postpartum recovery afterwards.
Your First Visit
What actually happens when you call
You describe it
Call and say what is going on, including how long it has been happening and anything you have already tried. The front desk does this every day and there is no wrong way to explain it.
We check coverage
Submit your details and we verify your insurance benefits before you come in, so you know what applies rather than finding out at the desk afterwards.
You are assessed
The first appointment is an assessment rather than a treatment decided in advance. Bring your full medication list, including supplements, because it changes what is appropriate.
You get a plan
Sometimes that is one treatment. Sometimes it is a course across several, or two therapies combined into one visit. Either way you will be told honestly what is realistic.
How We Work
Three things that shape every appointment
We ask before we treat
The first visit is an assessment rather than a treatment sold in advance. What you are managing, how long it has been going on and what you have already tried all change the answer, and none of that can be worked out over the phone.
We treat the whole picture
Pain, sleep and stress are rarely separate problems, and treating them as three appointments in three buildings is how the connections get missed. Here they are one conversation with one practitioner deciding what fits together.
We say where the limits are
Everything here is complementary care that works alongside your physician rather than replacing them. If what you describe needs investigating rather than treating, the front desk will tell you so on the call.
Two Offices
One on each shore of Suffolk County
Both open seven days a week, weekdays until eight in the evening. Not every treatment runs at both, so call before you travel if you want something specific.

Common Questions
Before you call
Do you take insurance?
We accept all major insurances including No-Fault, Anthem BCBS, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, NYSHIP and Cigna, as well as personal pay. Coverage depends on your plan and what is being treated, so submit your details through our intake and insurance page and we will verify your benefits before your first visit.
I do not know what I need. Where do I start?
Call 631-309-2242 and describe what is going on. The front desk has this conversation every day and will suggest a starting point rather than booking you into the longest treatment on the list.
Which office should I book at?
Lindenhurst for the South Shore, Kings Park for the North Shore. The full body detox center is at Lindenhurst only, so anything in that category is booked there.
Can I book more than one treatment in a visit?
Yes. Combined appointments run acupuncture alongside massage, reiki or Active Release Therapy in one visit, and detox treatments stack easily into a single trip.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel on the day of your appointment you are responsible for the full cost of the treatment. Give us as much notice as you can and we will move things rather than charge you.
