Massage Therapy in Lindenhurst, NY
Twelve treatments from a straightforward hour to a sound bowl journey for two. Voted best massage therapy on Long Island every year since 2011.
Our Massage Menu
Every treatment runs a full hour
Massage therapy at The Balance Health and Wellness Center has been voted best on Long Island every year since 2011. Twelve treatments, all sixty minutes, from a straightforward therapeutic hour through to a shared sound bowl experience for two.
What changes between them is what happens inside that hour. Some are built around relaxation, some around specific tension in the neck and shoulders, some around recovery after training. Pressure and technique are adjusted to you in every one of them, whichever you choose.
If you are not sure which suits you, call 631-309-2242. The front desk arranges these every day and will help you pick the right one.

Why Here
Massage inside a clinical practice
Voted best massage therapy on Long Island every year since 2011, which is a long run for anything.
The difference between a massage here and a massage at a spa is what surrounds it. Your therapist works in a building where more than twenty treatments run under one roof, and where Active Release Therapy, cupping and acupuncture are down the hall rather than somewhere else entirely.
That shows up in the menu. Trigger point therapy, Active Release techniques, cupping and assisted stretching are built into the treatments rather than offered as novelties, because the people delivering them work alongside practitioners who use the same tools clinically.
Popular Choices
Where most people start
First time here
Start with the Therapeutic Massage at eighty-five dollars. It is customized to you anyway, so your therapist can work out what you actually need and steer you from there next time.
Desk job, sore neck
Tension Relief was built for exactly this. Neck, shoulders, jaw and upper back, with trigger point work and stretching, for ninety-five.
Buying it as a gift
Serenity or either couples experience. Gift cards are available and the front desk will help you pick if you are not sure what they would like.
Pairing It Up
Massage and acupuncture together
The single most common combination in the building. Acupuncture works on the systems underneath while massage works the tissue directly, and patients with long-running tension usually end up doing both.
There is a combined appointment for it, and that page explains how the two run in one visit.
If you are partway through a detox package, book massage on a day you are already in for a package treatment and twenty percent comes off it.
Before your first massage
Tell your therapist about any injury, recent surgery, skin condition, allergy, or anything you are currently being treated for, and bring your medication list. If you are pregnant, book the prenatal massage rather than a standard treatment, and speak with your physician first if your pregnancy is high risk or you have been advised to avoid massage. Say something during the session if the pressure is not right. Adjusting is normal and nobody minds. Massage therapy is complementary care that works alongside medical treatment rather than replacing it.
Common Questions
Questions we get asked
Do enhancements make my appointment longer?
No. Enhancements are incorporated into your massage and performed within the scheduled session time. They change what happens during the hour rather than extending it.
How long is a massage?
Every treatment on the menu runs sixty minutes, including both couples experiences. What varies between them is the techniques and additions included in that hour.
Which massage should I book first?
The Therapeutic Massage is the usual starting point because it is customized to you regardless. Your therapist will suggest where to go next based on what they find.
Can I have a massage while pregnant?
Yes. Book the prenatal massage, which uses supportive positioning and is designed for every stage of pregnancy. Speak with your physician first if your pregnancy is high risk.
Is massage therapy covered by insurance?
Coverage depends on your plan and what is being treated. Submit your details through our intake and insurance page and we will verify benefits before your first visit.
