Holistic Wellness for Commack, NY
No station, two townships, and everything reached by car. Our Kings Park office is a short run north, and we know exactly what all that driving does.
Commack Patients
A hamlet with no train and four highways through it
Commack is split between the Town of Huntington and the Town of Smithtown, has no railroad station of its own, and sits where the Expressway, the Northern State, Jericho Turnpike and Commack Road all cross. Everything here happens in a car.
That adds up in a way people rarely connect to how they feel. School runs, Jericho Turnpike errands, the exit 52 crawl, and a commute that for a lot of the hamlet means driving to a station somewhere else before the actual journey starts.
Our Kings Park office is a short run north up Commack Road, and it is the closer of the two for most of the hamlet. What we see from Commack is consistent enough to draw, which is what the panel below does.
Time In The Seat
Where the driving actually lands
Tap a point. Five places, and they arrive in roughly this order.
Pick a point on the diagram
Long stretches in a fixed seated position load the body in a predictable sequence. Most people notice the last one first and never trace it back to the first. Tap any of the marked points to see what tends to happen there and what treats it.
Making The Trip Count
If you are driving anyway, do two things
In a hamlet where everything is a drive, the appointment has to be worth the journey. Which is why combined appointments exist and why Commack patients use them more than most.
Acupuncture alongside massage in one visit. Acupuncture with Active Release Therapy, where the point work relaxes the body first and makes the release work easier to perform. Or acupuncture and reiki for anyone whose problem is more than physical.
All of those run at Kings Park. Say when you book that you are coming from Commack and would rather do it in one trip, and the front desk will build the appointment that way.
Before You Book
Four things Commack asks
For nearly all of Commack, Kings Park. Straight up Commack Road and into the village, and it holds acupuncture, massage therapy, Active Release Therapy and reiki. The Lindenhurst center is further south and worth the run only if you want the detox facility, which is the one thing Kings Park does not have.
Both offices run eight in the morning until eight at night on weekdays, and eight until five at weekends, seven days a week including major holidays. Early mornings and mid-mornings are the quietest slots in the building and the easiest run in. Evening appointments go first, so call ahead for those.
It changes what suits you rather than whether anything does. Postural and accumulated restriction responds differently from an acute injury, and it usually needs a plan across a few visits rather than one appointment. That assessment is what the first visit is for.
We accept all major insurances and verify your specific coverage before your first visit, so you know what applies rather than finding out at the desk. Submit your details through the intake page and we will confirm beforehand.
At Kings Park
What runs at the closer office
Acupuncture is the foundation of the practice, covering pain, migraines, anxiety, sleep and fertility. Massage therapy runs twelve sixty-minute treatments from eighty-five dollars.
Active Release Therapy handles scar tissue and restriction, and reiki is available for anyone who would rather not be handled at all. Combined appointments pair acupuncture with massage or acupuncture with Active Release Therapy in one visit.
The full body detox range, including colon hydrotherapy and far infrared sauna, is at Lindenhurst. See all treatments.

Common Questions
More questions from Commack
Is Commack in Huntington or Smithtown?
Both, depending which side of the line your street falls on. It makes no difference to booking. Kings Park is the closer office either way and it is open to everyone regardless of township.
What if I want detox treatments?
Those are all at the Lindenhurst office, which is the longer run south. Worth stacking two or three treatments into that trip rather than making it twice, and the detox packages include twenty percent off anything else booked on a treatment day.
Can I book acupuncture and massage in the same visit?
Yes, and for anyone driving in it usually makes sense. Combined appointments run acupuncture alongside massage, reiki or Active Release Therapy in one appointment rather than two.
How long has the practice been on the North Shore?
Over sixteen years in Kings Park. The wider practice has been running since 2004, led by Joseph A. D'Antona, DAOM, voted Long Island's Best Acupuncturist.
What are the hours?
Seven days a week including major holidays. Monday to Friday from eight in the morning until eight at night, and weekends from eight until five, at both offices.
