Holistic Wellness for Smithtown, NY
Our North Shore office is not near your town. It is in it, on Main Street in Kings Park, and it has been there over sixteen years.
Kings Park is part of the Town of Smithtown. Most people are surprised by that when we say it.
Smithtown Patients
Sixteen years on Main Street
The Balance Health and Wellness Center has been part of Kings Park for more than sixteen years. Long enough that a decent share of the patient list has been coming that whole time, and long enough to be known in the village rather than advertised at it.
For anyone in Smithtown proper, St James, Nesconset or the Village of the Branch, that office is a short run along Route 25A or up Route 111 depending on which end you are starting from. It is a boutique practice rather than a full center, which is deliberate. Fewer rooms, quieter building, and a comprehensive holistic experience without the scale.
The larger South Shore center in Lindenhurst holds the parts that need more space, including the full body detox facility. Which office you want depends entirely on what you are booking, and the panel below settles it in one click.

Out On The Trails
The river, the parks, and the knees that pay for them
Smithtown is unusually well supplied with places to be outside. The Nissequogue running down through the town, Caleb Smith on Jericho Turnpike, Blydenburgh and the trails around it. People here walk, run, paddle and ride considerably more than the county average, and they keep doing it later in life.
What arrives at the office is the consequence. Knees and hips from years of trails, shoulders from paddling, and the ankle that rolled on a root two summers ago and has never been quite the same. Rarely dramatic, usually cumulative, and usually presented as something the person has decided to live with.
Active Release Therapy handles the restriction, and acupuncture for pain relief the rest. Both run at Kings Park, and both can be combined into one appointment.

Common Questions
Questions from Smithtown
Is the Kings Park office really in the Town of Smithtown?
Yes. Kings Park is a hamlet within the Town of Smithtown, so the North Shore office is inside your own town rather than a neighbouring one. It is at 99 Main Street, at the corner of Pulaski Road.
Which treatments are at Kings Park?
Acupuncture, massage therapy, Active Release Therapy and reiki, plus combined appointments. The detox services, including colon hydrotherapy and the water bar, are at the Lindenhurst office.
Can I use both offices?
Yes, and some patients do. If your plan includes detox work alongside treatments that run on the North Shore, the front desk will arrange the schedule so it works rather than leaving you to coordinate it.
Are the hours the same at both?
Yes. Monday to Friday from eight in the morning until eight at night, and Saturday and Sunday from eight until five, seven days a week including major holidays.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept all major insurances and verify your specific coverage before your first visit. Submit your details through our intake page and we will confirm what applies.
